Is it time for a change? No problem! Let Eazywallz make the removal process, well, easy! First, let’s narrow down which material you have already installed. Below you will find a step by step guide on how to remove your Eazywallz hassle free.

Removable Phototex

If you would like to keep the mural and move it to another space, please reapply the panels to the backing paper it came on. If you do not have it any longer, you can cover the panels with wax paper.

Step 1: Peel up the top left corner of the panel and slowly peel it off the wall.

Step 2: Repeat step 1 if you have multiple panels, and don’t forget, this material is biodegradable so please recycle the panel(s) removed. Great job!

Pre-Pasted Wallpaper

Step 1: Saturate the panels with water to release the glue from the wall.

Step 2:Gently peel the panel(s) off from the wall.

Step 3: Take a damp sponge or rag and clean any excess glue residue that may be left on your wall. All done!

Paste the wall Wallpaper:

Step 1: With a putty knife try to pry the edges of the wallpaper panels and pull off gently anything you can remove from the wall. If all the panels come off, your job is done!

Step 2: If all the wallpaper did not come off, it’s time to tackle the stubborn wallpaper that’s left. This job will now call for a liquid stripper or a concentrated remover solution. This can be purchased at most home hardware stores as well as online. The next steps to remove your wallpaper will be best followed by the instructions on the remover solution you purchase. This step is not the most fun task… Grab a drink, you deserve it!

Vinyl and Laminated Vinyl

Step 1: Begin by trying to simply, but gently, removing the panel from the wall by pulling it off from the top edges. It is possible the vinyl will come off with ease. Good job, thumbs up!

Step 2: If pulling the panel(s) off is not so simply done, the next step is taking a blow dryer and heating up the panels of vinyl. The heat will allow for the adhesive to liquefy slightly and will allow for it to release from the wall more easily.

Step 3: Once the panel has been heated, begin to the peel the panel off from the top. Please remember, peel it off gently to be sure to cause the least flaking to the wall paint possible.

Step 4: Repeat Step 2 if you have multiple panels until all the panels are removed. Unfortunately, the wall at this point may need some touch ups… Good job removing!
